Floor Maintenance

Taking care of floors can be a difficult, but necessary task. We recently stripped and waxed a commercial floor in Kyle, Texas. The majority of the time is spent on prep work. The stripping solution you use, will determine how long the job will take. A shop vac is preferred during stripping. This ultimately, will make the job much easier. Then the final task is to put down the wax. There are several types of mop head materials you can use. I prefer rayon. It usually takes 3-5 coats of wax to achieve the shine you are looking for. Again, this depends on the type of wax that is being used.
